Looking for a healthy dessert for your kids or YOU??? This has to be one of my favourites!
It is school holiday time and I am always on the look out for healthy treats for my little ones..This treat aka pudding was shared to me by my amazing friend Clo, we spent many afternoons together in Dubai sharing recipes and creating fun dinners for our kids…This one afternoon she was on a mission to get her son to eat avocados and had heard that you could make a delicious dessert out of avocados, which her son refused to eat at the time… We sat watching all 3 kids try the dessert and guess what??? it was a success…HIGH FIVE to Clo as the kids loved it and Ed didn’t even know there was avocado in it ❤ (do you have any photos from this day?) I still remember the look on your face when you watched Ed take his first mouth full…
WHAT YOU NEED?
2 Bananas (semi ripe)
1 tablespoon of cocoa powder
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 tablespoon of maple syrup
Optional: Add 1 drop of Peppermint essential oil to the mix to enhance the flavour of the mousse…
Add all ingredients into the food processor, blend away till everything is combined and looks like mousse… Store in the fridge for an hour so that you can serve it cold with berries on the top!
Delicious, healthy and so easy to make…..
