DIY Cleaning Ideas

Are you living in a toxic home?

DIY cleaning products is the way to go these days, not only do they save you money but they also reduce your toxic load and good for the environment.. if you are like me and like getting your Martha Stewart on, you will definitely enjoy making some of my recipes and also start  creating your own.

My mission here is  to empower you to see that you can get back to basics and use simple natural ingredients for the most beautiful natural life. For me it has definitely felt like the missing piece of the puzzle when it came to my health + wellness, especially with 3 little kids. There are so many toxins out there, which are definitely unavoidable, however one thing I can do is control the environment that we live in and  that is why I love making my own..

Why should you care?? There is so much research out there stating that store bought cleaners are full of toxins and dangerous for our health.. but do you know why? Some of the side effects include rashes & skin irritation, eye damage, allergies, cancer, headaches, respiratory damage and some chemicals being mixed together can cause death (ammonia & bleach). If you would like to further your knowledge on this topic and to find out more on what lies underneath your sink, I would  recommend checking out the EWG website and the Household Product Database, great resources to get your started!

So here is a list of my top 10 DIY cleaning products that I want to share with you!

Let’s get back to basics!

FYI Essential oils

This is something that you should take into consideration when choosing essential oils. Up until a few years ago there were only a few grades of essential oils on the market… now there are many! Essential oils are not created equally. In fact, most of the brands on the market today are either synthetic and offer no health benefits. When choosing essential oils make sure to buy certified pure therapeutic grade. If you want to order the brand I trust and personally use, email to order or learn where to buy them. Make sure to contact me if you are interested in viewing the
